Nikita Shergill is a photographic artist interested in examining issues of social power and forces of control in relation to the spaces of her enquiry. Her work explores the identity, territory and psychology in social spaces and the behavioural patterns they suggest. Nikita graduated in 2014 with a BA (Hons) in Photography from the University for the Creative Arts (UCA) Rochester, England, UK. Her work has been exhibited at the Arles Photography, Voies Off Festival in France, the Folkestone Triennial Fringe Programme, England and Photokina, Germany. Nikita currently works in London and the South-East of England.
